Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continue actuating a steam turbine to allow the steam turbine as well as an organic fluid turbine to contribute to generating electric power even if the load of an internal combustion engine decreases and it is difficult to actuate solely the steam turbine.SOLUTION: An exhaust heat recovery device comprises: an exhaust gas economizer generating main steam by recovering heat from exhaust gas discharged from a diesel main engine; a steam turbine driven by the main steam; an organic fluid heat exchanger generating steam of an organic medium by recovering heat from a low temperature heat source at a temperature lower than a heat recovery temperature of the exhaust gas economizer; an organic fluid turbine driven by the steam of the organic fluid generated by the organic fluid heat exchanger; and a generator generating electric power by power output from the steam turbine and the organic fluid turbine, the organic fluid turbine being actuated at a velocity dependent on velocity adjustment of the steam turbine, and auxiliary steam generated by an auxiliary boiler being supplied to the steam turbine if a pressure of the steam generated by the exhaust gas economizer is equal to or lower than a threshold.
