Abstract:
Disclosed is a wastepaper processing device that can be operated automatically and can be stopped automatically at any given time, such as in the nighttime, without the need for a user to operate the device and with which maintenance operations can be selected and performed automatically. The disclosed wastepaper processing device includes: an functional unit (716) for controlling automatic operation, which sequentially performs operation processes from when the operation is started until the operation is stopped; a functional unit (722) for calculating the estimated number of recycled sheets, which calculates the estimated number of sheets that can be recycled until the end of a recycling operation; and a display unit (74) for displaying the estimated number of recycled sheets calculated by the unit (722) for calculating the estimated number of recycled sheets.
