PURPOSE: To improve sanitary property and safety by driving a crusher for a fixed time with opening and closing operation of a cover body of throwing in port, and also making the cover body so as to be locked in the closed position during the period, in a device for throwing wastes of a multistoried building into an underground waste collecting place via a crusher and a chute.

CONSTITUTION: When a raw waste throwing in port 2a is opened, a break contact point on a limit switch 21a is closed and an incombustible throwing in port 2b is locked. And when the throwing in port 2a is closed after throwing in raw waste, a timer acts to lock the throwing in port 2a. Lock for the raw waste throwing in port 2a and lock for the throwing in port 2b after throwing in incombustibles are performed in the same way by opening and closing the incombustible throwing in port 2a. With lock of throwing in port 2a or 2b, a motor 16 is driven to have crushers 4a, 4b driven, an operating lamp 24 lightened, crushing action performed and the wastes thrown into a collecting place via chute Pa, Pb. Thus, the device can be operated sanitarily and safely.
