PURPOSE: To save man power and labor by arranging a conveyor continuously provided with rotary rollers at the intermediate section between a storage hopper and an insertion hopper in a feeder to an incinerator or the like.

CONSTITUTION: Waste tires in a storage hopper 1 are extracted by a proper quantity via the actions of a bridge preventing dumper 2, a self-propulsion preventing dumper 3, and a triple belt conveyor 4 and transferred. They are then transferred to quintuple rotary rollers 5. The diameter of the rotary rollers 5 is set to about 0.5-0.8 times the outer diameter of the waste tires 5, the interval between the rollers 5 is set to about 0.3-0.5 times the thickness of the waste tires, and the waste tires are all aligned in a plane shape on one stage. The waste tires are transferred to an insertion hopper 10 via a roller conveyor 6, a shift conveyor 8, and an insertion conveyor 9.
