To provide a waste toner recovery container capable of wholly and evenly recovering waste toner in a large-capacity container with neither causing malfunction of conveying members nor causing unexpected damage of components, abnormal noise and the like; and to provide an image forming apparatus.
A waste toner recovery container 30 is projectingly provided with a waste toner inflow part 32 in the upper part of a waste toner storage part 31 extending in the depth direction. A first conveying member 41 that conveys the waste toner in the waste toner storage part 31 in the depth direction is actuated in conjunction with the actuation of a second conveying member 51 that conveys the waste toner accumulated inside the waste toner inflow part 32 in the width direction. Furthermore, a specific portion 41c of the first conveying member 41 is adapted to be fractured or elastically deformed when a load of a prescribed value or more is applied to the first conveying member 41.
