To provide a water absorbing treatment material excellent in manufacturing cost, hard to produce liberated water even if receiving a large amount of urine and capable of suppressing the occurrence of a malodor.
The water absorbing treatment material is obtained by gathering a large number of granular water absorbers. The large number of the granular water absorbers are constituted of granular water absorbers with a large particle size, which pass through a sieve having a mesh size of 25 mm and remain on a sieve having a mesh size of 5-8 mm, and granular water absorbers with a small particle size, which pass through a sieve having a mesh size of 3-4 mm, and the constitutional wt.% ratio of the granular water absorbers with the large particle size and the granular water absorbers with the small particle size is 40-5:60-95.
