Abstract:
To provide water base ink printed matter protectant which simply prevents the flow-out of water base ink printed matter by moisture and a method for protecting the matter.
The printed matter protectant comprises a water absorption material containing a polyacrylic, polyethylene oxide, a vinyl acetate copolymer or acrylic acid graft copolymer material and their mixtures. The matter or its vicinity is coated with the protectant to protect the matter against moisture.
