Abstract:

To obtain the subject composition, capable of simplifying a waxing step, simply removing foulings such as scales and providing a good gloss on a treated surface by using a sugarcane wax as a wax component.

This composition comprises (A) a sugarcane wax as a wax component, preferably (B) a silicone oil which is preferably a dimethyl silicone oil, a modified silicone oil or a mixture, (C) a hydrocarbon solvent, (D) a polishing agent (e.g. diatomaceous earth) and (E) a surfactant as active components. The component A is preferably obtained by pressing, e.g. a stem of a sugarcane, adding a flocculant to the resultant pressed juice and filtering the wax component, etc. The respective amounts of the compounded components are preferably within the ranges of 1.0-30.0 pts.wt. component A, 1.0-30.0 pts.wt. component B, 0-20.0 pts.wt. component C, 0-20.0 pts.wt. component D, 0.5-10.0 pts.wt. component E and 10.0-80.0 pts.wt. water.
