Title:
WATER-BASED INK FOR INK-JET RECORDING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2007063463
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To provide an aqueous dispersion for ink-jet recording having excellent ejection performance while keeping satisfactory printing density and marker resistance in the case of printing on a plain paper and provide a water-based ink.
The aqueous dispersion for ink-jet recording comprises (A) a self-dispersing pigment having a salt-forming group and (B) polymer particles having a unit derived from (a) a monomer having a salt-forming group and a unit derived from (b) a silicone macromer wherein the polymer particle B has a salt-forming group same as that of the self-dispersing pigment A. The invention further provides a water-based ink containing the aqueous dispersion.
