Title:
WATER COMPARTMENT FOR HEAT EXCHANGER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3650801
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water compartment for minimizing the thermal stress between a pipe and a pipe slab.
SOLUTION: A water compartment of a heat exchanger 1 is provided with an external jacket 5 and a pipe slab 6, and the pipe slab 6 is supported by a thick pipe slab 7 through the external jacket 5 and a pipe 8. The pipe 8 is arranged in the external jacket 5, and connected to the pipe slabs 6, 7 in a gas-tight manner. A pipe 13 forms a gap 12, introduces a gas therein, and is inserted in the pipe 8, and extended from the pipe slab 6, and an elongated pipe end 14 is bent outward. A bent pipe end 15 is connected to a thin pipe slab 6 in a gas-tight manner from the pipe 8 with an interval in the radial direction of the pipe 8. The pipe slab 6 is pressed against a ring surface of bores 17 located between the pipe end 15 and the pipe 8.
