Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a water-cooled wall usable for a long time even under high-temperature or high-heat flux by providing a refractory metal layer which is brought in contact with a high-temp. gas, a low-melting metal layer which partly develops a liquid phase when using, and a water-cooled metal part, and sealing said low-melting metal layer. CONSTITUTION:When used for a high temp. duct 10, solid- and liquid-phase low- melting metal layers 3, 3' are provided on the outside of a refractory metal layer, inside of which a high-temp. fluid 2 passes. And, water-cooled metal tubes 5, in which cooling water 4 passes, are provided within the liquid phase metal layer 3 and, then, the outmost layer of these is sealed with a sealing duct 7, constituting a water-cooled wall. Thereby, when a high-temp. fluid is passing, part of low-melting metal is melted developing a liquid phase, and prevents the generation of thermal stress as well as a cooling effect from being retarded. Therefore, the device can be used for a long time under a high-temp. or high- heat flux.
