PURPOSE: To reduce troubles owing to a product of corrosion by providing a removable corrosion-resistant auxiliary metal fitting at the tip on the water pipe side of a corrosion-resistant joint metal fitting provided at the joint of a cooling fin with a water pipe and by replacing the former metal fitting at a proper time.
CONSTITUTION: The joint metal fitting 3 of SUS is fitted to the cooling fin 1 of Cu built in a water conduit and the auxiliary metal fitting 9 (made of an alloy whose main constituent is SUS or Fe, Ni, Cr) is provided removably from the metal fitting 3 at the inside tip of the latter and connected electrically. The water pipe 2 is inserted into the metal fitting 3 and fixed thereto with pressure by a nut 11 and a sleeve 12. The water pipe 2 can be removed from the metal fitting 3 by the nut 11 and the auxiliary metal fitting 9 can also be removed from the metal fittng 3 with ease. When a electric current is supplied to the cooling water, most of affix of dissolved metals appears at the metal fitting 9, and by replacing this fitting, the increase in the pressure loss of a cooling system and the ununiformalization of the quantity of circulating water in a parallel system due to the affixing of the dissolved metals, as well as the increase in corrosion inside the fin owing to the effluence of dissolved metal particles into water, can be prevented.
