Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a water curtain forming apparatus which enables the stable forming of a water curtain with high smoke preventing effect.
CONSTITUTION: In a water curtain forming apparatus of a type in which water in a water tank 22 is made to drop through a slit groove 30 formed on a bottom plate part 29 of the water tank, a guide hole 31 is provided near both ends of the slit groove 30 and a means 24 is provided to mix the water of the water tank 22 with a surfactant 25. As a result, a water curtain is formed spreading throughout a path 26. The surfactant 25 mixed into the water enables the obtaining of a stable water curtain 33 without breaking the water curtain 33 by smoke.
