Title:
WATER-CUT INSPECTING TOOL FOR GROMMET, AND TEMPORARY HOLDER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3724331
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspecting tool for judging whether or not water-cut effect is obtained between a tip side and a rear end side of a grommet.
SOLUTION: This inspecting tool is provided with a cylindrical body 10, in which wires 4 projected form a tip of a grommet 3 is to be inserted, and a sealing means 11. Air is supplied into the cylindrical body 10 while detecting existence of the flow, and when inside of the cylindrical body 10 is pressurized and supply of the air is stopped, the grommet is discriminated as good. The sealing means 11 for the cylindrical body 10 is formed of a cover 19 having a wire insertion hole 22 and a grommet holding frame 20 to be fitted on a tip of the grommet 3, and the grommet holding frame 20 is pulled to the cylindrical body 10 by a catch clip 32 with spring, and a tip surface of the grommet 3 is pushed to the cover 19. Since the air leak from the cylindrical body 10 is prevented, existence of clearance between the wires 4 can be detected accurately.
