Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable any unskilled person to direct the discharging of water freely to a fire location by operating a handle of a nozzle body part easily by a method wherein the nozzle body part is provided with a lock device to stop the rotation of a swing arm and is mounted so as to make the angles of elevation and depression free in discharging water and the direction of discharging water free within a horizontal surface.
CONSTITUTION: In a water discharging part 7, a pair of upper end connection ports 2 of a water supply pipe 3 is mounted at a pair of water supply ports 5 formed on the left and right at the lower end of a nozzle body part 4 free to turn and a swing arm 6 is mounted at an upper end part free to turn automatically with the upper part of the nozzle body part 4 free to turn about a vertical axis thereof. Moreover, a connection port 1 at the lower end of the water supply pipe 3 is mounted on a vertical main water supply pipe 12 free to turn. A swing arm stopper as lock device for the swing arm is attached to an upper part of a water discharging nozzle part 7 and below the swing arm 4.
