Abstract:
To provide a water-disintegrable nonwoven fabric having both excellent wet tensile strength and water-disintegrable properties.SOLUTION: A water-disintegrable nonwoven fabric of the invention comprises interlaced pulp fibers, flat rayon fibers, and round rayon fibers. The surface of the water-disintegrable nonwoven fabric has jet stream scars caused by high-pressure water jet stream treatment, and the water-disintegrable nonwoven fabric in a wet state satisfies 70≤WT1≤500 and 2.0≤WT1/WT2≤6.0, when the tensile strength in the direction in which jet stream scars caused by high-pressure water jet stream treatment are extended is represented as WT1 N/m, and the tensile strength in the direction perpendicular to the direction in which the jet stream scars caused by the high-pressure water jet stream treatment are extended is represented as WT2 N/m.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
