To provide a water disintegrable resin film excellent in water disintegradability while having a definite water resistance and keeping excellent mechanical strength even when exposed under high-temperature and wet conditions at about 40°C.
This water disintegrable resin exhibits a tensile strength of ≥2 N/25 mm width after the surface thereof is pressed by a cotton gauze impregnated with water of 40°C with a pressure of 1.47 N/cm2 for 5 hr under a condition wherein the temperature is 40°C and the relative humidity is 90% and exhibits ≤600 sec disintegration-starting time required until it starts to lose its form in a test nearly according to JIS P 4501 for the capability of being untied period. The water disintegrable resin film has a predetermined mechanical strength under high-temperature and wet conditions and also exhibits excellent disintegradability for a large amount of water and thus can suitably be used as a back sheet of a liner for sanitary goods which requires the combination of good water resistance and good water degradability.
