To provide a water-dispersible polyurethane composition capable of providing coating film and molded articles improved in water resistance, heat resistance and tensile characteristics.

The water-dispersible polyurethane composition comprises (a) a polyisocyanate component containing a diisocyanate and as necessary a polyisocyanate having ≥3 isocyanate groups, (b) a polyol component containing a diol and as necessary a polyol having ≥3 hydroxy groups, (c) an anionic group-introducing compound, (d) an anionic group-neutralizing agent, and hydrotalcite and water as essential components and further comprises (e) a chain extender component containing a polyamine and other chain extender as necessary used as arbitrary components. In the water-dispersible polyurethane composition, the amount of the hydrotalcite used is 0.5-15pts.wt. based on 100pts.wt. solid content excluding the hydrotalcite.
