To make improvable the efficiency of water electrolysis and solar power generation and the smoothness of the release of hydrogen with a compact equipment by executing the temp. control of a water electrolyzing cell and heating for a hydrogen storage tank by hot water produced by solar battery panel cooling and executing water electrolysis by electric power obtd. by a solar battery.
On the back face of a solar battery panel 2' in a solar power generating device, a solar heat hot water generating device 4' of executing cooling thereof, and a hot water storage tank 6' for the temp. control of a water electrolyzing cell 1' integrated with the are provided. The electric power generated by the solar battery panel 2' is fed to the water electrolyzing cell 1', a part of hot water in the hot water storage tank 6' is fed to an ion exchange column 7' as pure water, and water electrolysis is executed. The hydrogen obtd. this is stored in a storage tank 9 using a hydrogen storage alloy. This stored hydrogen is swiftly released, if required, by passing hot water in the hot water storage tank 6' through a heat exchanger 10 and heating the hydrogen storage alloy and is fed to a fuel battery as fuel, by which power generation can be executed.
