Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water flow partition apparatus which can form a water flow detention area in which inhabitation of fish is enabled even in an artificial river.
SOLUTION: There is provided a water flow partition apparatus which is arranged along a river quay 2, for forming a water flow detention area 11 in which inhabitation of fish 21 is enabled, between the river quay 2 and the partition apparatus. The partition apparatus has a partition wall 12 which is erected from a riverbed 3 and fixed to the same. The partition wall 12 includes a slant wall 13 and a side wall 14. The slant wall 13 is disposed so as to be in contact with the river quay 2 at one end thereof and be slanted toward a downstream central portion of a river basin 4. The side wall 14 is connected to a downstream side of the slant wall 13, disposed at a smaller angle with respect to the river quay 2 than the angle of the slant wall, and has window holes 20 communicating with the river basin 4. The water flow detention area 11 has its downstream end 11a opened to the river basin 4.
