Abstract:
To provide a water gate open/close device which can ensure safety even when a motor for lifting a door body has a failure.SOLUTION: A water gate open/close device 1 is provided with: a hydraulic motor 15 connected to a door body 3 and lifting the door body 3; hydraulic sources 16a and 16b including pumps 33a and 33b and motors 34a and 34b driving the pumps to allow control of a discharge rate and a discharge direction; a first close circuit 17 connecting the hydraulic motor 15 and the pumps 33a and 33b; and fail-safe means 23 for limiting fall of the door body 3 by its own weight when the hydraulic sources 16a and 16b are inoperable and limitation of a rotating shaft 15 of the hydraulic motor 15 is released. Consequently, safety is ensured by limiting rapid fall of the door body 3 by its own weight even when the motors 34a and 34b for lifting the door body have failure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
