Title:
WATER HEATER WITH DEODORIZATION FUNCTION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH06254539
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To execute deodorization stably over a long period of time by adsorbing the volatile odorous components generate by operation of a vacuum drying treatment device which is a source for generating water contg. the odorous component on adsorbents and regenerating these adsorbents by utilizing the operation of the water heater.

CONSTITUTION: The vacuum drying treatment device B is generally run at night and lowers the b. p. of the water by reducing the pressure in a vessel contg. a material to be dried to a vacuum. On the other hand, the device evaporates the moisture from the material to be dried and returns the evaporated moisture to the water by condensing the moisture. The water contg. the odorous components is introduced by an introducing pipe 11 into a water tank B having an aerator 7 installed in a water heater body A where the volatile odorous components in the water are separated. These odorous components are adsorbed on the adsorbents 9 in an odor absorber 10 according to circulation of the air. The primary air which is necessary at the time of combustion with a burner 3 of the water heater to be generally run in the day time is supplied via the odor adsorber 10, by which the org. components of the adsorber 10 are sent together with the air to the burner 3 and are thermally decomposed. The adsorbents 9 are thus regenerated.
