Abstract:
To provide a water-in-oil emulsion ink that has high storage stability and exhibits excellent continuous discharge stability in an inkjet recording system, and a method for producing the water-in-oil emulsion ink.SOLUTION: An water-in-oil emulsion ink has an aqueous phase in an oil phase, the aqueous phase containing a pigment, a polymer dispersant A, and a water-soluble organic solvent B, and the polymer dispersant A having a crosslinked structure. A mass ratio of a content of water-soluble organic solvent B to a water content in the water-in-oil emulsion ink [water-soluble organic solvent B/water] is 0.05 or more and 0.5 or less.
