Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an effective water jet range necessary for fire extinguishing and quickly extinguish a fire breaking out near a position where a water jet nozzle is set even if the pressure and volume of water jetted from the nozzle is small by simplifying the nozzle structure.
SOLUTION: This water jet nozzle has the hollow nozzle main body 1a with a hydrant intake 3 at one end to which a pipe for pressure fire extinguishing water is connected, and plural nozzle holes are formed on the spherical surface of the top of the nozzle main body 1a in the jetting direction. The plural nozzle holes consists of nozzle holes 4a-4b for a long-distance throw with jetting angles upward as against the radial direction, nozzle holes 5a-5d for a medium-distance throw under the nozzle holes for a long-distance throw, and nozzle holes 6a-6h for immediate neighboring areas under the nozzle holes for a medium-distance throw. A belt-shaped step-down part 2a is formed on the side of the top spherical part of the hollow part 2.
