Title:
WATER-LESS PLANOGRAPHIC PRINTING PLATE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH04104249
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To facilitate development and to enhance printing resistance by incorporating a compound having a mercapto group in a silicone rubber layer and a polymer having polysiloxane side chains having ethylenically unsaturated groups in a photosensitive layer, and irradiating the mercapto groups and the ethylenically unsaturated groups with active rays to cause the photoaddition reaction.

CONSTITUTION: The silicone rubber layer containing the compound having the mercapto group and the photosensitive layer containing the polymer having the polysiloxane side chains having the ethylenically unsaturated groups are formed on a support in this order, and the mercapto groups and the ethylenically unsaturated groups are exposed to the active rays to cause photoaddition reaction, thus permitting the obtained water-less planographic printing plate to be easy in development and high in printing resistance.
