Abstract:
PURPOSE:To always and easily keep the water level of a paddy field at the proper value by connecting a raceway to a water pipe which is opened and closed by a float that moving up and down by the water level of the paddy field. CONSTITUTION:An approximately cylindrical main body 1 which is closed at its both ends contains a float 11 which moves up and down along the inner wall of the main body 1. Then the float 11 has a water dropping port 15 at its center so that the water supplied through an upper port drops downward. At the same time, a venthole 13 is provided on the upper end face of the main body 1 together with plural drainage ports 14 provided at the lower end of the main body 1. Furthermore a water pipe 12 is provided on the side wall of the main body 1 at its middle part. When the water reaches a proper level, the water supplied from the raceway is stopped. Then the water level and then the float 11 drop and therefore the water is supplied by the theory of a siphon. That is, the water is supplied from the raceway or the supply of water is stopped. Thus, a proper water level, i.e., the depth of 7-10cm is always kept.
