To provide a water level controller capable of easily detecting any anomaly with a water-level gauge.
The water level controller 20 includes a water-level gauge 9 with an air discharge part 3, an air supply tube 4 and a water-level detection unit 5; a full float 6 for detecting that a holding tank 1 is full; a drainage pump 2 for draining waste water when the level of waste water in the holding tank 1 is within a predetermined range; a control circuit for controlling the drainage pump 2 according to the level of water detected by the water-level gauge 9; a comparison means for comparing the result of detection by the float 6 with the result of detection by the water-level gauge; and an alarm 11 for reporting any anomaly with the water-level gauge. When the comparison by the comparison means shows that the result of detection by the water-level gauge does not match the result of detection by the float 6, the alarm 11 reports anomaly.
