Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a hot/cool water mixing device which can reduce the power consumption and the size of a driver means of a mixing valve body having a piston.
CONSTITUTION: A hot/cool water mixing device is provided with a hot water valve body 26, a cool water valve body 28, a partition wall 33 which separates a secondary flow path 31 of the body 26 from a secondary flow path 32 of the body 28, a hot water pressure piston 29 connected to the body 26 from a cool water flow path 24, a hot water pilot pressure flow path 38 led to a cool water pressure piston 30 connected to the body 28, and a pilot pressure varying means 42 which varies the flow path area of a cool water pilot pressure flow path 39. Then, the temperature of the hot water mixed with the cool water is detected by a temperature detector 44. A controller 45 compares the temperature detected by the detector 44 with the temperature set by a setting means 46 with feedback control. Thus, a proper temperature is secured for the hot water mixed with the cool water.
