Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the subject new powder capable of providing cosmetics excellent in water and oil repellency and further extensibility, adhesion, smoothness, etc.
CONSTITUTION: Powder is composed of a zirconium compound expressed by formula I [R is 1-22C fluoroalkyl in which O may be inserted between carbon atoms; B is bifunctional crosslinking group; (p) is 0 or 1; (m) is 1-12; A is 2-3C alkylene; (n) is 0-50; (x) is 0.2-1.8; (y) is 0-10)], e.g. the formula Zr(HPO4)1.4(C8F17 CH2CH2OPO3)0.6. For example, the compound expressed by formula I is obtained by dissolving a compound expressed by formula II (M1 and M2 are two groups selected from H and monovalent cationic groups or one bivalent water, then adding a layer zirconium phosphate (preferably γ type) and reacting both preferably at 30-100°C.
