To provide a water paint for interior finish which has adsorption and degradation activity to a harmful material in room air without using a photocatalyst requiring light irradiation and has excellent deodorization activity, moisture absorption and desorption activity and antibacterial and antifungal activity.

The water paint for interior finish comprises 2-40 pts.wt. fired scallope shell powder, 5-20 pts.wt shirasu balloon, 10-30 pts.wt. binder, 5-15 pts.wt. pigment and 10-65 pts.wt. water.
