Abstract:
To improve water permeability and maintain its effectiveness even in situations where a large amount of strongly hydrophobic fouling easily adheres to papermaking equipment for removing moisture such as wire and felt in a paper manufacturing process.SOLUTION: A water permeability improver of this invention comprises a copolymer obtained by polymerizing vinylpyrrolidone and vinyl carboxylate having 4 to 6 carbon atoms, wherein the molar ratio of the vinylpyrrolidone to the vinyl carboxylate is 40:60 to 99.5:0.5.SELECTED DRAWING: None
