PURPOSE: To improve the initial performance of the water purifying device for household or industrial water to be used for purification of water, such as water for swimming pools, water for water tanks for fancy fishes and water for fish culture.
CONSTITUTION: This device is constituted of a water purifying module 2 which contains mineral materials 1 previously propagated with the microorganisms necessary for water purification, a UV irradiation device 3 which is provided on the downstream side of the water purifying module 2, a water tank 4 which is provided on the downstream side of the UV irradiation device 3, an injector 5 which is provided on the upstream side of the water purifying module 2 and supplies oxygen, and a pump 6 which is provided on the upstream side of the injector 5 and forcibly circulates the water in the water tank 4. Since the microorganisms necessary for the water purification are previously propagated in the mineral materials 1, the microorganisms on the mineral materials 1 complete the propagation and are in a stop period, already having the sufficient purification performance even in the metabolite quantity. There is, therefore, an effect of maintaining the purification performance from the initial period.
