Abstract:
PURPOSE: To automatically regulate a nip between a water roller and a transfer roller.
CONSTITUTION: A motor 5 for driving an adjusting screw 4 is provided at the screw provided at each of both the ends of a water roller for regulating a nip between the water roller 1 and a transfer roller 2. A glossimeter 3 is provided near the water roller. The driving circuit 5 of the motor is controlled via the signal processor 7 of the glossimeter.
