To provide a water screen which removes sediments and increases the survival rate of fish.
Flights 50 are arranged at intervals on the outer surface of the water screen 20. The flights 50 are made to cross the width direction of the screen from the top position on one or both side ends of the screen to one or the other bottom position. With the movement of the screen, the plurality of flights 50 lift the fish 52 onto the surface. When the fish 52 passes through the surface, the fish 52 slips on the one side end or both side ends of the screen along the inclined flights 50, thus the fish 52 escapes safely. Then a second water screen 20, which has a larger hole than that of the water screen 20 for removing the fish, is positioned on the upstream side, filters contaminants and protects the water screen 20 for removing the fish on the downstream without giving a strong impact to it.
