Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a direct contact type water cooler of the type for compressing refrigerant by a water sealing compressing chamber.
CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for cooling water by evaporating water hard soluble refrigerant by the direct contact with the water comprises a compressor 7s for compressing the refrigerant by a water sealed compressing chamber, a condenser 9 for liquefying the refrigerant after compressing, and nozzle 4 as contact evaporating means for bringing the liquefied refrigerant liquid into direct contact with the water and evaporating the refrigerant liquid.
