Abstract:
To provide a water softener having a high hardness reducing ability and easily regenerating an ion exchange resin.SOLUTION: A water softening device 1 includes a water softening tank 3, a neutralization tank 4, a branch section 9, and a circulation pipe 34. The water softening tank 3 softens raw water containing hardness components with a weakly acidic cation exchange resin 7. The neutralization tank 4 neutralizes pH of a first soft water that has passed through the water softening tank 3 with weakly basic anion exchange resin 8. The branch section 9 branches a second soft water discharged from the neutralization tank 4. The circulation pipe 34 supplies the second soft water branched at the branch section to the water softening tank 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
