Abstract:
To provide a water softener capable of increasing a conductivity of water supplied to an electrolytic tank without adding chemicals and suppressing an increase in an applied voltage to an electrode.SOLUTION: A water softener includes a water softening tank that softens raw water containing hardness components used in the water softening process by a weakly acidic cation exchange resin, an electrolytic tank that generates acidic electrolytic water used in the regeneration process to regenerate the weakly acidic cation exchange resin in the water softening tank, and a mixing part that mixes raw water and regeneration water containing hardness components deposited from the weakly acidic cation exchange resin in the regeneration process to generate mixed water. The electrolytic tank produces acidic electrolytic water with the mixed water.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
