Abstract:
To provide a water softening apparatus capable of performing regeneration treatment of a water softening tank with a weakly acidic cation exchange resin without causing supply restrictions of softened water to users.SOLUTION: A water softening apparatus 1 includes a plurality of water softening part 39 having a water softening tank 3 in which raw water containing hardness components is softened by a weakly acidic cation exchange resin 7 and a neutralization tank 4 in which softened water that has passed through the water softening tank 3 is neutralized by a weakly basic anion exchange resin 8, and an electrolytic tank 9 which generates an acidic electrolytic water to regenerate a weakly acidic cation exchange resin 7 in the water softening tank 3 and to regenerate the weakly basic anion exchange resin 8 in a neutralization tank 4. The plurality of water softening part 39 are connected in series with two or more water softening part 39 in series, and have a water softening treatment part for softening raw water and a regeneration treatment part for regenerating the water softening part 39 using the acidic electrolytic water and alkaline electrolytic water delivered from the electrolytic tank 9 during the period when the water softening treatment is being conducted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
