Abstract:
To provide a water softening device capable of detecting a timing of polarity inversion operation and performing the polarity inversion operation at an appropriate timing.SOLUTION: A water softening device 1 includes a water softening tank 3, a neutralization tank 4, an electrolysis tank 9, a detection section 27, and a control section 26. The detection section 27 detects a voltage, and the control section 26 controls electrode regeneration processing of the electrolysis tank 9 based on the voltage detected by the detection section 27. In resin regeneration processing, when the voltage detected by the detection section 27 is lower than a first reference value, the resin regeneration processing is continued or shifted to water softening processing, and, when the voltage detected by the detection section 27 is equal to or higher than the first reference value, the resin regeneration processing is stopped and shifted to electrode regeneration processing. And in the electrode regeneration processing, when the voltage detected by the detection section 27 is equal to or higher than a second reference value, the electrode regeneration processing is continued, and, when the voltage detected by the detection section 27 is lower than the second reference value, the electrode regeneration processing is stopped and shifted to the resin regeneration processing or the water softening processing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
