PURPOSE: To reduce a displaced flow by providing a larger capacity trough than a water spray trough for supplying a heat source fluid.
CONSTITUTION: There are provided a water spray trough 12 disposed on opposite sides of the upper part of a heat transfer tube panel 11 provided vertically, and a lager capacity trough 14 than a water spray trough 12 for supplying sea water to the water spray trough 12 through supply pipes 13a, 13b. To the trough 14 sea water is supplied through a regulation valve 17. Hereby, a displace flow of the spray water is reduced and the amount of excess spray water due to the displaced flow is reduced. With the displaced flow reduce a thermal load provide to the heat transfer tube of the individual heat transfer panel is made substantially uniform.
