Abstract:
To enable stopping of water flowing from the downstream to a draft tube and improve efficiency and safety of a water turbine under service.
A water stopping device 1 for a draft tube is used when the inside of a water turbine facility is checked or serviced. This water stopping device can stop water flowing from the downstream side to the draft tube 105 and is equipped with a beam member 2 which can be fixed to the draft tube 105, a footboard 7 which is fixed to the beam member 2 and divides the inside of the draft tube 105 in a vertical direction, and a sealing portion 10 which seals between the footboard 7 and the inner peripheral plane of the draft tube 105 in a watertight manner.
