Title:
WATER STORAGE TANK
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3881064
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a water storage tank from being pushed up by underground water even if, when water in the tank decreases, the groundwater level in a region, in which the tank is embedded, rises.
SOLUTION: A pump-out port 2 covered with a cover body 4 is formed on a top plate 1a of a water storage tank body P1 and a lower opening 1b is provided at the center of the bottom of the tank body 1. An underground water introducing pipe 6 made of bellows-shaped pipe whose lower end is connected to the port 1b is erected and an introducing port 6a at the upper end of the pipe 6 is connected to a ring-shaped float member 7 through connection arms 8, 8. Each of the arms 8, 8 has a through hole at its inner end so that guide bars 5, 5 erected from the opening 1b each are passed through the through holes of the arms 8, 8 to guide the member 7 to move only in a vertical direction. An underground water introducing space 3 is formed beside the tank body 1 and connected to the opening 1b through an underground water introducing passage 9.
