Title:
WATER SUPPLY NOZZLE FOR WASHING MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2009232992
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To solve the problem that water splashes toward the outer part of a washing tub when the water hits clothes placed in the upper part of the washing tub in a case where the water is supplied into the washing tub in starting washing or rinsing in a washing machine, and that a lump of powder detergent is stored to cause clogging of a water supply nozzle or mold since the powder detergent is left inside the water supply nozzle in a lump state when water is supplied without sufficiently dissolving the powder detergent in starting washing.

The water supply nozzle includes: a water inlet and a water outlet which is opened to have an oblong shape where the longitudinal length is more than three times as long as the width; a first projection arranged on the inner side of the wall surface in a path between the water inlet and the water outlet and projecting in a substantially vertical direction relative to a water flow direction; and a second projection arranged on the inner side of the wall surface facing the wall surface with the first projection arranged thereon in the downstream of the first projection.
