Abstract:
To provide a water treatment method capable of reducing water soluble COD components stably even when an amount of a water treatment agent is used excessively with respect to kinds and amounts of water soluble COD components involved in a water to be treated and variation of drainage volume.SOLUTION: The water treatment method includes a step of addition, to a water to be treated, of a water treatment agent (P1) including a copolymer (M) having a weight-average molecular weight of 500-1,000,000, prepared by polymerization of a monomer (m1) bearing a cationic functional group and a monomer (m2) not bearing a cationic functional group, and a water treatment agent (P2) including at least one salt (S) selected from a group consisting of a silicate, a phosphate and a borate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
