To enhance the use efficiency of ozone, to make an ozone water making means or an ozone gas generation means compact and to achieve the enhancement of system efficiency and cost reduction, in a water treatment method for cleaning a membrane module using ozone-containing water or ozone gas, and an apparatus therefor.
The water treatment method using the membrane module includes a process having a plurality of membrane moduli for filtering water to perform the filtration of water and a cleaning process for cleaning the membrane moduli using the ozone-containing water or the ozone gas. The cleaning process for the membrane moduli is performed so that a time zone for performing a cleaning process for one membrane module and a time zone for performing a cleaning process for cleaning at least a part of another membrane module are shifted in order to enhance the use efficiency of ozone. Preferably, the cleaning process is performed so as to be dispersed equally and continuously over the whole process.
