Abstract:
The present invention makes it possible to carry out ion exchange resin regeneration simply at a lower cost even when SO4 2- or CO3 2- are included in water to be treated in a water treatment method using an ion exchange resin and a reverse osmosis membrane. Provided is a water treatment method including a softening step for softening water to be treated that includes SO4 2- and/or CO3 2-, solid components, Na+, and Cl- using an ion exchange resin, a nano filtering step for separating water softened in the softening step into water passing through a nano filter membrane and a concentrated liquid using a nano filter membrane, a reverse osmosis step for separating the water passing through the nano filter membrane into water passing through the reverse osmosis membrane and concentrated water using a reverse osmosis membrane, and an ion exchange resin regeneration step for regenerating the ion exchange resin using concentrated water from the reverse osmosis membrane. Also provided is a water treatment device that is suitable for carrying out this method. Also provided is an ion change resin regenerating method including the softening step, nano filtering step, reverse osmosis step, and the ion exchange resin regenerating step using the concentrated water from the reverse osmosis membrane.
