Abstract:
To highly efficiently and stably remove organic substances present in water to be treated while decreasing energy for regenerating an adsorption device, preventing a system from becoming a large sized one and preventing a running cost from increasing.SOLUTION: A water treatment system according to the present invention that removes organic substances from water to be treated containing organic substances to purify the water to be treated, comprises multistage folding/transporting means of folding a mat-shaped adsorption device adsorbing the organic substances in multistage and transporting the same, circulation transporting means of transporting the adsorption device to the multistage folding/transporting means by allowing the same to rotationally move by releasing the adsorption device transported by the multistage folding/transporting means from the folded state, means of feeding water to be treated for causing the water to be treated to flow through the adsorption device folded in multistage, in the thickness direction thereof to let the adsorption device adsorb the organic substances, and heated gas feeding means of causing heated gas to locally flow through the adsorption device released from the state of being folded in multistage, in the thickness direction of the adsorption device to let the adsorption device desorb the organic substances.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
