To provide a waterfall shower device (cascading hot water on a bather's back) controlling not to give discomfort to a bather in use.
This waterfall shower device 7 having waterfall shower nozzles 45a and 45b for dispensing hot water fed from a hot-water supply device 3 includes: an illumination part 46 which emits a light in a hot water dispensing direction dispensed from the waterfall shower nozzles 45a and 45b; a time counting means 47 which counts a lapse time from starting the supply of the hot water supplied form the hot-water supply device 3 to the waterfall shower nozzles 45a and 45b; and an illumination mode change means 48 which changes a light illumination mode of alight emmitted from the illumination part 46 according to the lapse time counted by the time counting means 47. The light illumination mode may be defined as the color of the light. This waterfall shower device 7 further includes a temperature sensor 42 for detecting the temperature of the hot water dispensed form the waterfall shower nozzles 45a and 45b, wherein the illumination mode change means 48 may change the light illumination mode according to the lapse time and the hot water temperature.
