PURPOSE: To improve the adhesiveness between a primer layer and substrate by incorporating an aliphat. epoxy compd. contg. are hydroxyl group in one molecule into the primer layer.
CONSTITUTION: The aliphat. epoxy compd. which has at least one hydroxyl group in one molecule and is incorporated into the primer layer is the condensation product of polyhydric alcohol such as, for example, ethylene glycol or diethylene glycol and epichlorohydrin and is obtd. by bringing the same into reaction at such a reaction ratio at which at least one hydroxyl group remains in the molecule. The aliphat. epoxy compd. may respectively independently form the primer layer; the mixing thereof with other components and the modification thereof by other components are equally satisfactory. Such other components are exemplified by 1 or ≥2 kinds of urethane resins and vinyl resins, other epoxy compds. and multifunctional isocyanate or the polymers thereof. The adhesiveness of the primer layer to the substrate is thereby improved.
