Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the waterproof electric connector with a sealing part arranging at the concave fitting part of the one connector and requiring small compression force to insert the opponent connector.
SOLUTION: The shielding part 102 has the body 104 with the main plane and the outskirts rim part 106 protruding and lying nearly at right angles to the main plane. The outskirts rim part 106 has the fitting plane 114 nearly at right angles to the main plane and the first and the second inner wall planes 116 and 118 positioning at the outside and inside of the fitting surface 114 respectively. When fitting connectors each other, the end plane of the opponent connector pushes and presses the fitting plane 114 being comparatively small in area and compresses the sealing part 102. The end plane of the opponent connector does not push and press the body 104 being comparatively large in area, so the compression force required for the sealing part 102 is small.
